Overview

'energyTEAM' is an energy consultancy which employs consultants accredited to carry out work on behalf of the Carbon Trust. The advice we give can help your organisation to cut energy use, costs and carbon emissions and will play a key role in moving the UK towards a low carbon economy. The recommendations made can often save up to 20% on energy bills.

• Energy Performance Certificates - Public and Commercial Sectors
  energyTEAM engineers will be able to issue the required Display Energy Certificates and associated Advisory Reports for Public Authorities in time for October 2008 when they are required as well as Energy Performance Certificates and Advisory Reports for vendors of commercial property that require them to complete any lease, rent or sale transactions from April 2008 onwards.
  
  The roll out of this legislation has already been delayed once because it was felt that there will not be enough accredited assessors to ensure that everyone who needs an Energy Performance Certificate and or a Display Energy Certificate will be able to comply with the legislation so Act now and book an energyTEAM engineer.
  
  
• 'Energy Surveys funded by The Carbon Trust':
  The Initial Opportunities Assessment survey identifies up to 10 energy saving measures. These will be a combination of no cost, marginal cost and higher cost initiatives. energyTEAM will advise on possible interest free loans to install energy saving equipment (SME companies) and Enhanced Capital Allowances.
  
  
• Sub100kW smartMETERING
  Provision of half hour data by installing smartMETERS that automatically record and transmit electricity consumption in the sub 100kW market allows customers to compare and contrast similar sites, identify and cut out energy wastage, improve forecasting and budgeting as well as cash flow.

• Corporate Energy Policy:
  Assistance in formulating a written policy statement and implementing an effective energy policy throughout your organisation.
  
  
• Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control. (IPPC):
  energyTEAM can help with Permit application services, project management of required site tests, and ongoing support.
  
  
• European Emissions Trading Scheme Help includes:
  Awareness days / Monitoring & reporting support / Verification services.

To assist in any of the above we can provide Staff Training, ensuring relevant staff have the knowledge and skills to implement effective energy efficiency measures.

Where budgets will not stretch to employing a full-time energy manager, energyTEAM can provide the service of a Sub-Contract Energy Manager.
